Kogi Gov’ship: Omala APC Critical Stakeholders Converge, Devise Winning Strategies

Critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Omala Local Government met at the instance of the Executive Chairman of the area, Hon. Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh.

Among the resolution of the group are continuously engaging the people to solicit their votes.

They resolved that APC is their party, therefore, as party men and women who put the interest of the land first, they are fully queuing behind the candidates of the party, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and Comrade Joel Oyibo to emerge as Governor and Deputy Governor respectively in forthcoming November polls in Kogi State.

The Council Chairman, in his remarks, implored all stakeholders to gear up in their door to door campaign while maintaining that though the stakeholders are inexhaustive as it stands, called for more expanded members going forward before engaging other group of stakeholders, party stalwarts and groups for overall victory.

The House of Assembly member for Omala State Constituency, Hon. Umar Yahaya, hailed the Executive Chairman for keeping the party APC united, and urged all to rally behind the Chairman for overall victory for the Ododo/Joel ticket.

Vice Chairman of the local government, Hon. Mrs. Ele-Ojo Faruna, Secretary to the local government, Mrs. Joy Odaudu, Technical Adviser to Kogi State Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Arome Alfa, Chairman, Elder Advisory Council, Mallam Suleiman Husseini, Permanent Board Member, Kogi State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Hon. Adofu Steve, Secretary of Kogi State Broadcasting Commission, Mallam Suleiman Ibrahim.

Others are SSA to the Governor on Youth Empowerment (Kogi East), Hon. Matthew Ochada, House Speaker and Majority leader of Omala Legislative Council, Omala NULGE Chairman, NUT Chairman, Education Secretary, Former Youth Leader (Hon. Mark Edibo Ameh); Chairman, Kogi State Persons with Special needs, Hon Arome Ibrahim, Former House of Assembly Aspirant, Hon. Apaila Joel; Hon. Simeon Omale, Hon. Abel Onuh, Hon. Atanu Jonalson, Hon. Kadiri Marvelous, Hon. John K Maha, Hon. Hassan Yusuf, Hon. Hamisu Shehu, Comrade Ishiaka Isah Zekeri, among many other critical stakeholders who were unavoidably absent.
