The founder of Hajjo Movement for Ododo, Hajiya Hamidat Onota, has expressed confidence that the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Usman Ododo will win the November gubernatorial election in Kogi state.
She called on the people of Kogi state to vote for Ododo in order to continue the legacy of the current Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
Hamidat, a respected community leader, made the call while fielding questions from newsmen in Lokoja on Monday.
She harped on the importance of continuity in governance and leadership, adding that the current Governor has made significant progress in addressing the challenges facing Kogi State, improving security, infrastructure, and the economy.
Hamidat asserted that Ododo is the right candidate to build on these achievements and take the state to even greater heights.
According to Hajiya Hamidat Onota, Ododo is a man of integrity and competence, with a wealth of experience in both the private and public sectors.
She described him as a visionary leader who has a clear plan for the future of Kogi State.
Hajiya Hamidat Onota expressed confidence that Ododo’s leadership will bring about positive change and development for the people of Kogi.
Speaking on Ododo’s commitment to youth empowerment and job creation, she stated that he has promised to prioritize education and skills development, in order to equip young people with the tools they need to succeed in life. Hamidat believes that this approach will not only benefit individuals but will also contribute to the overall development of the state.
She urged the people of Kogi State to vote for Ododo in the upcoming election, stressing that this is an opportunity to continue the progress made by the current Governor and to choose a leader who is committed to the welfare of the people.
Hajiya Hamidat Onota encouraged everyone to come out and exercise their right to vote, and to support Ododo in his bid for Governor of Kogi State.
