Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji has been confirmed as one of the guest lecturers at this year’s Waka About Africa’s annual FinTech tour lectures.
The event slated for September 22 would be graced by dignitaries such as Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed who is the special guest of honour. Also expected are Dr Isah Pantami, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy; Prof. Samuel Aje, Vice Chancellor of Achievers University; Senator Hadi Sirika, Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation; Professor Umar Danbatta, Executive Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) among other dignitaries.
The theme of this year’s lecture, ‘Unlocking Opportunities for Nigerian Businesses’, will focus on leveragable chances in existing partnerships between technology and financial institutions to seek recalibration for dwindling businesses in Nigeria. It is billed to hold in the seat of Lagos State Government, Alausa.

Recently, the former Zenith Bank’s corporate expert was in Rwanda where he discussed women inclusiveness in politics as panacea to Africa’s socioeconomic and political problems.
He is currently the front runner in the Kogi East senatorial race in the forthcoming general election.
