Governor Yahaya Bello has reiterated the determination of his administration to collaborate with security agencies to flush out criminal minded people out of Kogi state.
Bello made this known in Lokoja on Friday when he received the Chairman of Yagba West local government area, Pius Kolawole, who briefed him on the success achieved in the arrest and killings of some of the armed robbers that attacked Egbe and Odo Ere communities.
He stated, without mincing words, that criminals who enter Kogi State to perform their heinous acts will not leave the state alive.
“If twenty criminals enter Kogi, they will leave in zero,” he said.
Bello maintained that Kogi State is not a safe haven for criminals as anyone caught will face the weight of the law.
He commended the doggedness of the local government Chairman, saying he has demonstrated capacity and bravery.
