In the political arena, Alh. Jibril Momoh has created a niche for himself within a short period of time through selfless services, his peaceful disposition, and his ability to unite the people, as well as human capital development.
Alh. Jibril single handedly influenced the renovation of Okengwe central mosque and to put to rest the hitherto promoted Okengwe-Obehira dichotomy.

In the last 5years, Alh. Jibril Momoh influenced the appointments of many sons and daughters in the civil service and other political positions.
As a promoter of education, Alh. Jibril renovated Okengwe Community Secondary School, Arigo, drilled boreholes to ease water scarcity in Okengwe district, paid WAEC fees for the children of the less privileged, empowered widows, provided cash and vehicular gifts to the youths and influenced the construction of Obehira-Makaranta road.
