Abducted Pharmacist, Abdulazeez Obajimoh, Regains Freedom

The Managing Director of Azeco Pharmacy in Okene local government area of Kogi State, Abdulazeez Obajimoh, has regained freedom from his abductors.

Obajimoh was abducted by unknown gunmen in Iruvucheba community, Okene local government area of Kogi state, on July 11.

The Kogi State Chairman, Pharmaceuticals Society of Nigeria (PSN), Dr. Lawal Mohammed confirmed Obajimoh’s release.

A family source disclosed that Obajimoh was released on Friday, after ransom was succesfully negotiated.

The abductors had earlier rejected an offer of N10million ransom made by Obajimoh’s family and friends, insisting on N30million.

The source added that after much pleading, the abductors agreed to release he Pharmacist after an unspecified amount was added to N10million.
