A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King has applauded the verdict of Kogi Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, describing it as fair and just.
In a statement issued in Lokoja on Sunday, Hon King congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello on his victory at the tribunal.
“On behalf of my humble self, the good and progressive Ebira people, I, Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King heartily congratulate our own son, brother, the visionary and anointed Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for yet another resounding victory at the Governorship Election Tribunal.
“Our Governor Sir, it is worthy of note that this victory over the forces of distraction, falsehood and negativity have been failing, are failing and would continue to fail against you and your quest to transformation Kogi State.
“As Allah, again, has once more affirmed his choice of you as his chosen one to pilot Kogi state to greater heights, it is my ardent prayers that Allah continue to endow you with his divine guidance and unflinching support even beyond these trying moments,” he said.
