‘You’re a Rare Gift to Our Generation’, Kogi Gov Celebrates El-Rufai @60

Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has hailed his Kaduna State counterpart, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai for his contributions to the progress and development of Nigeria.

In a statement he personally signed in commemoration of El-Rufai’s 60th birthday, Bello described the Kaduna State Governor as a “rare gift to our generation.”

Bello commended El-Rufai for his support on contributions towards his re-election last year.

“I, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Government and good People of Kogi State heartily congratulate His Excellency, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State on the auspicious occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary. 

“On this day, I join millions of Nigerians to celebrate an astounding Quantity Surveyor, a legal luminary, a quintessential Public Administrator, a management expert cum politician par excellence.

“You have been a rare gift to our generation as your 60 years on earth have made significant contributions to the progress and development of our Father Land. 

“Your remarkable accomplishments when you served as the Director General of Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) as well as the the transformation you brought to the nation’s capital, Abuja, when you served as the Minister of FCT still ring bell whenever the name, “Malam El-Rufai” is mentioned.

“In similar vein, your first four years as Governor of Kaduna State have brought unprecedented progress and development to the people of the state and I am confident that your second term would even record much more positive accomplishments. 

“I must not fail to acknowledge your significant supports and contributions to my reelection as Governor of Kogi State. 

“As you clock three decades on earth today, I pray that the Almighty Allah will continue to protect and keep you in sound health to enable you actualise all the good dreams you have for this nation,” he said.
