Adavi local government council Administrator, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami has commissioned a motorized borehole for public use at Ogaminana Central Market.
The motorized borehole, according to Salami, was executed by Kogi state Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello as part of the fulfillment of major demands made by the people that patronize the market.
He explained that the newly commissioned water project can supply about 5,000 women and men domiciled in the market and people living within its environs.
In his brief remarks, the Administrator commended Governor Bello for responding to the longtime demand of the marketmen and women.
He noted that Governor Bello is a man who has the interest of his people at heart. He assured the market men and women of his administration’s commitment to providing more dividends of democracy.
The council boss urged them to make judicious use of the facility and reciprocate the gestures of Governor Bello by voting massively for him during the November 16 governorship election.
Speaking earlier, Hon. Seidu Ananyi, who gave the vote of thanks, hailed the overwhelming infrastructural developments facilitated by the Administrator, through the intervention of Governor Bello.
He pledged that they will reciprocate the laudable gestures during the forthcoming governorship election.
The President of Adavi Market Women Association, Hajiya Daudu Asipital thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for fulfilling his promises in stages and prayed for his sound health. She assured that all the market women will not fail to vote massively for the Governor to guarantee his second term in office.
She described Salami as a youth-friendly Administrator whose tenure is witnessing positive, monumental development.
