Amb. Aliyu Mahmud Amoto has called on all governorship aspirants in the just concluded APC primary election in Kogi state to join hands with the party’s candidate, Governor Yahaya Bello to move the state forward.
In a telephone conversation with Kogi Reports on Thursday night, Mahmud congratulated Governor Bello and his appointees over the success recorded at the primary election.
“I am proud of the political aptitude displayed so far by Governor Yahaya Bello and his political family. He has once again demonstrated that he is fully in charge of Kogi state All Progressive Congress (APC) by clinching the party ticket with a landslide margin. I have no doubt he will emerge winner of the forth coming election, because he has proven to be in touch with his people over and over again.
“I am calling on all party members and Governor Yahaya Bello’s appointees to remain committed and resolute. Our vote is our pass to the Kogi state of our dream. Kogi will be better for all of us under the watch of Governor Yahaya Bello,” he said.
He further appealed to the remaining aspirants to accept the verdict of the party delegates and support the elected flag bearer of the party in the spirit of sportsmanship.
