Fellow Kogites, away from the sentiments that clouds politics with politicking, it has become pertinent to state the obvious. This series will come in 4 parts for the sake of summarized writing.
When there is a government is perceived to have failed, it is only morally right to carry out SWOT analysis of the projected/expected deliverables for the purpose of evaluation and appraisals.
Today in Kogi, where there are obvious evidence of government fails, rather than show with empirical evidence to debunk the criticism, the government and their stooges invokes the propagandists theory of lies, blackmail, manipulation and deceits all in a bid to cause distractions.
Today, my focus will be on the Rule of Law and Education:
For the period under review, Kogi State Government is said to have performed far below expectations to the dismay of many Nigerians and not just Kogi indigenes alone; which has triggered many sane voices to rise up in protest demanding a total overhaul of the present government in November.
On Separation of Power and Rule of Law

With the current state of event in the State, it is clear that the executive does not respect the rule of law and they have so bastardized the ideology behind separation of power. The antecedents of this governor does not reflect the true meaning of democracy and the rule of law.
The Kogi State House of Assembly charged with the responsibility of law making and who should act as the sergeant-at-arms to checkmate the excesses of the executive has been abused and blackmailed to have become a rubber stamp of the executive. Evidence is in the recent ambush pattern to unconstitutional remove the Chief Judge of the State as a clear definition of a tyrannical system of leadership.
The executive’s strategy is to continually subdue both the judiciary and legislature by invoking Law 11 of the 48Laws of Power to continually subject them to a more of nonexistent role.
Until we have a State were the 3 arm of government is completely independent, Kogites will perpetually be held in political captivity and there will never be check(s) and balance(s) in government and in return, what we get is gross abuse of power as it were.
Education
The current state of Education in Kogi State is so bastardized and dilapidated in both standard and structure. Virtually 10 out of 10 government owned primary and secondary school in and around Kogi most especially the rural areas, do not function. This is not how we can build the next generation of leaders in Kogi State. Our children are educationally disadvantaged because of government sabotage and carelessness to the entire system driven by sheer greed.
We must flush out the drain of corruption in Kogi State in November if we must build and work towards a desired Kogi. Let no one tell media lies or try to paint the government in a picture they don’t represent as per democratic deliverables; for what we saw during our campaigns were absolutely ridiculous and shameful to say the least.
In my part 2 of this episode, Welfare and Healthcare comes under radar.
