The Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Lawal Idris Muhammed will remain on the seat, as he has been announced winner of the election at Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.
Muhammed who is of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidates who came second and third respectively.
He polled 12,796 votes, while PDP got 10,891 votes; and SDP with only 1415 votes according to the official results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the collation center in Adogo.
