2019: Opposition Parties Are Only Looking for Their Daily Bread in Lokoja – Maikudi

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lokoja, Hon Bature Maikudi said for what the party has done in the state no other party will win in the 2019 elections except the ruling party.

He accused the opposition parties housing people that are only looking for their daily bread to survive in the state.

Bature who is  the APC chairman of Lokoja local government area revealed this to a mammoth gathered crowd in Lokoja on Monday.

“No party will win in Kogi especially in Lokoja. APC has done what no party was able to do in this area. I am calling on you to vote for APC all through, from top to bottom and bottom to top.

“Nothing of whatever means will stop us from bringing back Buhari/Bello and all APC candidates to power in 2019. They are the most ideal,” he said.

The sole administrator of the local government, Hon Shiru Lawal addressed the cheering crowd that they should not allow irrelevant parties to deceive them with impossible dreams.

According to him, APC has come on board to perfect the political damages of the past and to consolidate gains of development the party has started.

He assured the people of Lokoja of finding a last solution to the problem of electricity supply that has hampered the development of the area.

Director General of the Kogi West campaign council, Hon. Ibrahim Adoga who led APC stakeholders on the tour said APC are going round for reality show, not mere propaganda.

Adoga extolled Buhari of being a man for the masses to have thought it wise to construct infrastructures that were abandoned by PDP.

According to him, re-electing Gov Bello and voting for other flag bearers of APC is in the best interest of Kogi state because the governor has started well in infrastructure and other sectors.

The member representing Lokoja Koto federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Haruna Isah, while thanking them for their unwavering support for the party, reminded the electorate that the area have not record of considerable achievements in the last 16 years until recently.
