As Governor Yahaya Bello marks his three years in office, the Kogi Central Market Women Association has applauded him for what the association described as the governor’s renewed commitment to good governance, excellent service delivery and repositioning of the state despite challenges.
The chairperson of the association, Hajiya Khadiza Yahaya Ogirima said in the last three years, the story has become even better and in a determined effort to better his first term scorecard, the governor wasted no time in setting the ball rolling.
She further explained that the state in the last three years witnessed restoration of peace and security, massive facelift of social infrastructure as well as improved health sector and welfare package for workers and the citizenry as a whole.
The chairperson also stated that the three years so far spent under Gov. Bello’s new direction administration were defining moments of hope and state rebirth.
Hajiya Khadiza said Gov. Bello falls in the first category for his track record since inauguration into office 36 months ago and has become a reference point in security and good governance in Nigeria.
She urged the people of the state to continue to pray for the administration as well as imbibe a higher sense of patriotism. She called on members of the association across the state to mobilise support and ensure that they deliver all APC flag bearers in the next general elections.
