The essence of governance is not only to coordinate the affairs of the people, but to ensure that the life of this people are giving meaning and even set on a track that leads towards a better future.
Most times when a bad government is in power the state falls into shambles, in the same vain when a bad senator represents the people the people do not have a voice at all.
From a more critical point, it is obvious that as a constituency we do not have a voice, we do not have a say in the affairs of this nation, because the arrow head we have has become blunt, slumbering and sleeping at every instance in the senate.
Such style of representation, or such weakness in our so called arrow head has brought the development of our constituency to this stand still, it has halt the speed at which we would have advanced towards a more productive direction.
And today we are not only living like a constituency that has been developmentally crippled, but we are more like a people lost and left to keep stranding from pole to pole.
We have agitated, we have insisted in different strong way,we have solicited and rally round for a redress, but all of this has fell into a deaf ear and situations are getting worst every day.
But like the old political saying goes, if you are not okay with the leadership style then get involved and lead the people aright, this has challenge not just us who are the conveners but also the aspirant to get involved and ensure that this abnormalities and errors are corrected.
Through the candidacy of Dr Victor Alewo Adoji we shall bring development to Kogi East, through his representation we will ensure that the high level of poverty which has been on a rise on a daily basis will be halted once and for all.
These will no longer be the usual kind of representation where the people are always placed at the loosing end,rather the development and the continuous gain of the people is what it will keep working towards.
It is a kind of representation that does not only seek the well being of the people,but will also ensure that all forms of human and infrastructural development are set on a higher and better gear in the constituency.
Kogi East is one of the most blessed and resourceful constituency in the whole of west Africa,yet it is also one of the most underdeveloped in the whole of the world,this notion will be quickly erased through a relentless development approach which will be driving by the highly talked about DVAA’s blue print.
Gone are the days where seating senators only dig public toilet for the people,gone are the days where their only concern is just to ensure that they surface at chambers during seatings and share bag of rice during festive period.
Instead we are in a period in the history of our constituency where we want a more productive representation, quick to response, quick to action, quick to bothering issues, quick to begin projects, quick to address the issues of poverty, quick to liaison with agencies, quick to attracting investors and quick to every thing that bothers on the constituency.
Such senatorial sense and styles are what we want, the are what we have been searching for and we all know that this is only possible with Dr Victor Alewo Adoji in office.
we are not promising the good people of Kogi east bags of Rice, but we are promising them that we will provide farm aids including fertilizers that will help them provide even more than just rice for themselves and the entire nation.
There is no way we can share cars for them, but we will engage them and ensure that through this a kogi easterner will at least live an above average life.
We shall also work hand in hand with the constituency to cut short the issue of unemployment which has placed our constituency as one of the most Under employer of labour in the whole of west Africa by attracting investors and companies to the constituency.
Through the candidacy of Dr Victor Alewo Adoji we will encourage small scale businesses, we are not talking about the fallacy that has been tagged “traders Money” by the present administration rather a more better and reliable approach will be engaged and the true traders scattered across the constituency will be the direct beneficial of this schemes.
Development for all has being the appellation driving our mandate and the aspirations which he shares, by this the candidacy of DVAA will ensure that the development of the constituency does not only remain on paper and on social media, rather it will cut across the constituency not segregating any body or any locality.
It will be a more visible development strides that will be felt by every local government, every ward, every community and every individual in the constituency.
By bringing development to the people, we also mean the candidacy of Dr Victor Alewo Adoji will ensure that the large gap that has always existed between their senators and them over the years will be closed and a more interactive style will be embrace to enable the dividends of such representation to flow easily to the people.
Let me end by saying development is a debt every leader owe the people,btherefore the people should not plea or even give any reasons for this to be done, instead it should and must be done voluntarily.
