Away from politics, the APC standard flag bearer cum incoming member representing Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala federal constituency, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims and his serving Ankpa II State constituency counterpart, Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu took time to inspect work progress on the ongoing rehabilitation of Ankpa township road.
The state powered project which was awarded by Capt Idris Ichalla Wada before the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration remobilised contractors to site for is on a steady pace and God willing shall be soon due for commissioning.
The duo while expressing satisfaction on the progress and work level charged the contractors handling the reconstruction, TEC Nigeria Limited not to detail from ensuring the road is given maximum quality and completion between the shortest time period.
It will be interesting to note that Hon Halims and Hon Rabiu are synonymously interwoven owing to the fact that as member representing Ankpa I constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Hon Halims facilitated a lot of road projects while Hon Rabiu Alfa has to his credit among other things, the motion that led to the ongoing reconstruction of Ejegbo-Emere-Enebo-Ofugo-Abejukolo road.
