It is true Nigeria is practicing Presidential system. The system is too alien to our culture  and too minute in modus operandi as far as our diversity entails.

A leader who claims he or she can change the people from the top to the bottom is artificial just like the alien system of government in practice. Look, my president to be, no genuine leader can change the people except God almighty, the creator of heaven and earth and all the starry host. A leader who wants to change the people must, first , ask for help to be changed by the people through town hall meetings. This is the system of government we are born for, to live for and die for.  Because the voice of the people is the voice of God, the Grand Officer of the universe.

Many of our leaders are elected by miscalculation of destiny. This accounts for why they can only remember the masses at the expiration of their tenure in office. We need creative presidential system in Nigeria. What we have in Nigeria is invented one which does not provide answers to the primary needs of the people. Your visit to town halls provides opportunity to the people to change you to their kind of leader creatively not invented one.

The mechanism to campaign and win an election is not the same thing as governance. The first one has speed in consultations, rallying round with manifestos designed to win the electorate alone The second  is purely slow, and full of lobbying. It gives room for participatory democracy compared to a time of campaign and rally.

Your excellency, the decision to meet the electorates in a town hall meeting should not die with your  canvassing for solidarity and support for 2019 election. You need to sustain the culture while in government. Because that is the most creative part in leading the people  which an avalanche of Nigeria successive leaders have abandoned.

Take a careful look at Aba market, it is the center of commerce and industry in Africa and a model to the world, Europe and America. Today it has being reduced to a mere refuse dump through wicked politics. Your visit to Aba market is not complete without initiating policies that will reinvigorate, rebrand and transform readers in the market. How do you do it?

You can achieve this lofty set goal by injecting foreign market into it. The well known professional should be taken abroad to improve on their skills and return to Nigeria expand the idea under the watchful eyes of EFCC. This will give EFCC a good role to than the current goose chase on the country. This is exactly how Chinese American learned skills from Nokia and a host of others to return home and expand it and make China second best economy in the world.

We are not American or Britain. We are Africans where five people can use one spoon to eat jollof rice. This is not because of scarcity of spoon in the market square or lack of good knowledge of hygiene but to sustain the chemistry that holds them together through family bond or  communal ties  .

We never heard of town hall meeting from the whites. Our system of government is traditional democratic monarchy with town hall meeting as the boardroom of governance. May I enjoin you not to jettison the idea of town hall meeting within the 6 geo-political zone even before presenting the National budget.

It is not everything about tradition that should be abandoned, there are good ones which must be adopted and sustained. It is not everything about presidential system of government that must be adhered to strictly, you must be creative and resourceful about it.

Do not waste your time on screening Nigerian workers, it is an exercise in futility. Because no true ghost worker exist in the true sense of the phrase. The problem of ghost worker is man made  revolving around pay offices, ministry of finance, commissioner for finance and clerk of the local government. All the government workers in pay office should taken care of adequately. You cannot give mouth a delicious sumptuous and scintillating meal to hold, even the heart of man will eat it before the “almighty” mouth is forced to test the taste through the command issued from the heard.

Workers at government pay offices should enjoy robust KOB security or else it will be difficult to entrust them with public money. They will steal it.

Finally, There is wisdom in making grassroot road rehabilitation a cardinal objective in your administration. What is the source of wealth, feeding and survival of a  person residing in Lagos or Kano or Kaduna or even Lokoja here. Nobody  can survive without farmers in remote villages and hamlet churning out farm produce. I remember the day Hausa community went on strike for two weeks in Lagos, people at the metropolis almost went into extinction because of hunger.

The idea of terminating people’s appointment, or job to go back to farm is not as important as making rural road accessible for Farmers. Because Nigeria is blessed with abundant resources especially farm produce but the practical transport policy to make those resources reach the appropriate market or consumer  at affordable rate is still a mirage.  I have much to say.
