Good Governance Award: Persons With Disabilities Honour Tijani Damisa

Member representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituency in the lower chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Tijani Damisa has been honoured ‘Good Governance Award’ by the association of persons living with disabilities in Kogi Central.
Damisa bagged the prestigious award at the first annual Persons With Disabilities Day held at Rima Hall, AAAMCO, Okene.
Chairman of the Kogi Central Association of Persons with Disabilities (KCAPD), Mr. Ahhah stated that award was given to Damisa in recognition of his track record of leadership.
He cited Hon. Tijani Damisa’s leadership role as member of the federal House of Representatives and his great contribution to the enhancement of the welfare of Persons With Disabilities in Okene local government. Also, for his contribution to infrastructural development in Okene-Ogori/Magongo Federal Constituency.
The President of disabled persons called on Damisa extend his kind gesture to other local government areas in Kogi Central.
Hon. Muhammed Ovurevu received the award on behalf of Hon. Ahmed Tijani.
The event, which was chaired by His Eminent, Alh. S. I Bello, was attended by statesmen and technocrats.
