Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB a fore-most runner for the house of representatives in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency under the auspices of All Progressives Congress (APC) congratulates the people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency; home and abroad to mark this year Independence Day celebration of our greatly beloved nation.
Jones in his message admonishes all citizens particularly in the constituency to keep the hope alive for a truely great and progressive nation. He also noted that; the labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain, if we genuinely pick up stronger from where they stopped.
He further encouraged all to participate in nation building, where we have a strong stake and prerogative to be patriotic towards sustainable growth and development of the land. Hon. Wemi Jones used this occasion to plead with all and sundry to embrace dialogue to foster peace and unity at all time.
Jones use this anniversary period to solicits for your support as he jostles for the position in the lower chamber of the national assembly in 2019.
To this end, Hon. Wemi Jones quoted Albert Einstein, saying; “Everything that is really great and inspiring is created by the individual who can labour in freedom.” He, thereafter posed a challenge of allegiance by saying that no sentiment should be greater than a strong country. Therefore, in this present challenges, he encourage citizens at home and in diaspora to continue to build on our strengths to overcome our weaknesses.
