I have made all efforts to educate the people of the entire Igala/Bassa nation that formed the fulcrum of Kogi East as a senatorial district and the new wave of orchestrated clamour and campaign to undemocratically move the seat of the Senate from Olamaboro to Idah/Ofu axis in the current political arrangement through aggressive damaging information to the people of the area for obvious reasons.

Why is it now germane that the old Idah/Ofu axis that has produced the current minister of the federal republic of Nigeria now suddenly ripe for a senatorial slot?
Let’s ponder on this a little. For over twelve years, the old Dekina axis held sway without obstruction and at that point in time, one of our revered Igala leaders, Senator Dr Ahmadu Ali (CON) was chairman of PPPRA, a newly contrived federal agency, at the same time. Because of his strong belief in equity and a sound political entity, he never resisted against the order.
Even the current senator that was produced by the old Ankpa axis, now Olamaboro, was not a natural political arrangement but a major breakthrough from continuous political stooge been witnessed for a long time immemorial soon after the previous one that saw the emergence of Senator Andrew Abogede that was later truncated after three months by military putsch.
So, let’s quickly note and put it in our records that the election of Senator Atai Aidoko Ali to the 7th/8th Senate was not a product of consensus political arrangement needed for now to move the area forward.
In that sphere, the emergence of multiple aspirants to the current political order can not be altered to favour certain particular section against the other ones. Afterall, the current endless litigation emanated between two strong brothers who believes one is superior than the other and from the same geographical and political zone of old Ankpa axis.
So there is the need to control the long irrelevant and public induced essays to minimise or be stopped forthwith if politics must be played according to the rules.
Further to these, narrowing down the contest to the Kogi East landscape, we have not seen on any fora where contestants from any of the nine local governments in the ares are denied access to party platform or contests, therefore, the current loudest ovation on the current dispensation is a ploy to drive home inordinate ambition of a particular aspirant having exhausted all areas without results.
My worries about the writer’s contraption is, were they not aware that Idah axis has produced very strong political contenders and frontline runners that have conceded defeats to the current Kogi East senator on two occasions, both at the primaries and the real elections in the past?
The likes of Prince Adejoh Obaje, a worthy Prince of Igala kingdom and Hajiya Halima Alfa were all part of the records of contest and at the main elections, technocrats and renowned lawyers also conceded defeats at various level of the game. Such dignitaries include a former Managing Director of Nigerian Railway Corporation, Senator Abdulrahmam Abubakar and Barrister Dangana Ocheje, who both had a feel of the red chamber. So the current upheaval no doubt is a normal phenomenon.
Senator Aidoko does not have executive powers to site projects expected by the generality of the people of Igala/Bassa race, but within the confines of the constitutional provisions, it is already an over-flogged issue to continue to arose sympathy from the people of Kogi East that for years they have not been any impact on the infrastructures and basic necessities of life like water, electricity and health facilities. That is tantamount to political persecution and an understatement to cash in on cheap political goals. A novice in the area will know that the senator had gone beyond that level.
Roads are been constructed, provision of multiple transformers to communities, construction and equipping of various health centres as well as boreholes to communities hitherto dependent on stream water to sustain their living and other domestic needs.
It is a mere connivance and an attempt to always drive home their mischief as well as not been current at all to say the least that the ancestral home of the senator lack basic amenities. That is complete dirty politics taken too far. In fact, care is been adopted not to negate equity in the course of all these, because of the provisions of all necessary social intervention apparatus meant to encourage healthy livings amongst the people of the area and beyond.
Senator Atai Aidoko Ali had passed through all forms of  trials, travails, had the experiences, wherewithal and all it takes with no risk attached to his quest to return for continuity of good representation in the red chamber on behalf of the good people of Kogi East.
Any drowning candidate all in the pretext of a “mole” with a sign of an unfulfilled mission should stop marketing forthwith the unacceptable ideas of zoning the senatorial seat of PDP to Idah axis for sheer political manouvering and unrealistic targets.
The Kogi East senator did not liberate the people of his area from sheer political arrangement to favour the Olamaboro people in his mission, it was basically the overriding interest of the Igala/Bassa race that had driven the unalloyed zeal to place the area in the comity of well placed environments in all ramifications.
We all need to realise the implications of the continuous endless fight against the general ambition of the entire race and resolve to work as a team with a view to achieving sane political development in our endeavours.
A word is enough for the wise, in Aidoko we are rest assured of getting to our Eldorado.
