Kogi West 2019: APC Leaders, Associates Purchase Nomination Form for Smart Adeyemi

Led by Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Chieftaincy Affairs, Engr. Abubakar Ohere, leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) has bought senatorial nomination form for Senator Smart Adeyemi.
The leaders, supporters and political associates of Senator Adeyemi told reporters that they purchased APC expression of interest and nomination form for the Senator to mitigate his anguish and to gradually bring him out of mourning mood.
Presenting the form to Adeyemi in Maitama on Saturday, Ohere implored the Senator to accept the demise of his wife as an act of God.
Engineer Ohere while praying for the repose of the deceased, also prayed to God to grant the  Adeyemis the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss adding that her good legacy would be treasured.
The delegation presented the Expression of Interest Forms to Senator Smart Adeyemi amidst joy and sorrow as an aspirant to contest for the ticket in the forthcoming primaries as APC candidate to represent the people of Kogi West Senatorial District in 2019 elections.
According to them, their decision to purchase the forms for the Senator is out of their convictions and confidence in his credibility and capacity to adequately represent the people because of his record of achievements.
Senator Smart Adeyemi who was overwhelmed by the visit and the gesture from the team could hardly speak and was given the opportunity to remain silent.
Members of the team are the Kogi State APC Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello; Kogi State Algon Chairman, Alh Taufiq Isa and other Local Government Administrators, the respective leading Senatorial Aspirants from Kogi East and Central, Alhaji (Dr) Jibril Isah Echocho and Alhaji Yakubu Oseni (AYO).
Others are the Member Representing Okene/Ogori- Mangongo Federal Constituency, Hon. Tijani Damisa; the State Accountant General, Alhaji Momoh Jibrin; the Commissioner for Water resources, Barrister Abdulsalami Ozigi A; State Security Adviser, Navy Commander Jerry Omodara (Rtd); the Special Adviser to the Governor on Multilateral and Donor Agencies, Alhaji Adoga Ibrahim; amongst others.
