Notable good governance activist and House of Representatives hopeful, Comrade Johnson Musa, on Friday picked his nomination form to vie for the Dekina/Bassa Federal constituency seat under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The media lead of #TeamJM, Isah Idris Esq. in his press release to reporters in Anyigba stated that Musa picked the form at the national secretariat of the PDP, in Abuja.
He said the journey to close unresponsive representation cum governance has started and a new beginning in Kogi State is necessary.
According to his statement: “This is to inform you that Comrade Musa, has picked the official nomination form to contest the Federal seat in Kogi’s Dekina/Bassa federal constituency, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. He was recently received at the national secretariat by the supporters and associates.
“My principal also reaffirmed his commitment towards a better and more organized constituency where rule of law will reign ultimate, quality infrastructure provided, employment and sustainable empowerment given to the people.
“He urged Kogi masses to remain calm and resolute and that the days of bad leadership, unruliness and treachery are practically overdue.”
Johnson, who also spoke with newsmen after collecting his form in Abuja on Friday, said he is unwavering at ensuring that his people enjoy good representation within Dekina/Bassa constituency come 2019.
He noted that he is optimistic that his party the People’s democratic party (PDP) will win all elections in the state come 2019.
“I’m appealing to all Kogi PDP stakeholders that imposition of candidates and impunity should not be allowed but equality for all aspirants. PDP must win the forth coming elections at all levels by God’s grace.
“I want to commend all my supporters for standing by my ambition, we still have great tasks ahead and I want you all to keep all eyes on the ball, we are in for a win and by God’s grace, we will win.”
