Kogi West senate aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Williams Toyin Akanle has called on the members of the party to remain peaceful and true to the visions of the founding fathers of the party.
Akanle made the call while addressing party executives, stakeholders and supporters in Egbe in the course of his local government consultation tour.
He assured the stakeholders that the ruling APC remains the party to beat in the 2019 general elections.
The aspirant. who was well received by the leadership and members of the party, pledged to deliver purposeful leadership if given the mandate.
The leaders and stakeholders assured him of their unflinching support for his political ambition, adding that they are ready to vote for him in the coming primary election of the party as well as the general election.
The meeting was attended by women, youths and party faithful across the area.
