Gbokeke: Sani Ogu’s Demise a Great Loss to Igala Race – Senator Aidoko

Senator representing Kogi East, Atai Aidoko Ali has described the sudden demise of a great political icon and community leader, Alhaji Sani Ogu Gbokeke as a great loss to the people of Idah, Igala race and the entire Kogi state.

A statement issued on behalf of the senator by the media office asked the people of the area to take heart over the shocking pass away of the political giant who had done greatly in the advancement, development and progress of the entire Igala land.
Senator Aidoko said the Igala race will miss the wealth of experience of the great political gamer and determiner of the well being of the Igala race, both at home and in the diaspora.
He stated that the people of the area will also miss Ogu’s experience built on the political development of the race.
Senator Aidoko appealed to the people of the area to protect the political legacies and ideals of the late sage so as to continue to ensure the welfare, protection of the interest of the people as well as the strong political beliefs of the late politician.
Aidoko recalled his great achievement in the area of human and social infrastructural development during his days as chairman local government service commission where the perennial unemployment situation of the area was transformed to creating gainful employment opportunities to our teeming populace. He added that Ogu’s singular intervention is a great contribution to the success of the greater majority of the people.
He prayed for the repose of his soul of the deceased, while urging the family to take solace that the late politician lived a well fulfilled life worthy of emulation. He urged them to sustain the tempo so as to keep his ideals afloat even at death.
