For a former crowned Queen of Miss Kogi Pageantry, Miss Aliyu Precious, officially becoming a CEO of her long dreamed fashion enterprise is not only exciting, but also fulfilling to have it come to reality on her birthday.
The June 12th celebrant who is a graduate of Philosophy and Religious Studies has just unveiled “De Novo,” a Fashion House readied to bring novel buzz into the business and trends of fashion in Nigeria.
In a chat with our correspondent, Precious revealed the stylist side of her, expressing great delight in having to speak for people through unisex outfits.
“I love fashion, and I have always wanted to do this because it gives me joy to style people. I want an outfit to speak for people and for people to know that I gave that outfit a voice. De novo is a Latin word which means, ‘of new’ or ‘starting from the beginning.’ This is a new beginning for me,” she said.
The birthday celebration of the Fashpreneur also brought loads of happiness to the unveiling of De novo Fashion House at Plot C122, First Avenue Gwarinpa in the Federal Capital Territory.
“June 12th has always been a special day for me and for the people that love and care about me. So, bringing my dream to reality on the day I was born is overwhelming and fulfilling. Trust me, there is no better explanation than saying it is fulfilling, because I know the challenges God has helped me to overcome just to do this,” Precious added.
She revealed that the brand will also be breaking even on social media platforms, especially Instagram through the handle @houseofdenovo.
