The concept of democracy emphasizes patience and understanding, in order to afford the leader and the people to beneficial effect of the concept.
The question on the lips of 90% of Kogites is that Yahaya Bello is not performing. But the truth is simple we Kogites are not patient. This is a young man that came into power barely two years ago and met a state that is more at zero level.
A state that has no blue print towards development, a state where past governors have turned it into looters heaven, where embezzlement of state resources was the order of the day. Kogi state was carrying a few to the promise land, while majority wallow in hunger and poverty for over 16years Kogi state was in the hands of men without mission and vision, men who believe in friends and family arrangement in governance anchored on the principles of embezzlement and fraud.
Yahaya Bello administration came and met a state that was at its crumbling state, the reason why we perceive that the educational, infrastructural, health, transport and rural development sector are failing in Kogi state is because there was no attempt towards revitalizing those sectors in the past. The attempt by this administration to re position, redevelop and revamp this sectors under the principle of accountability and professionalism is seen as non performance by those who negate the principles of patience and understanding , which are one of the core value of democracy.
The rot that the Yahaya Bello administration met the state in cannot be undone in mere four years, hence the need for Kogites to give this administration more years i.e. additional four years to lay a solid foundation for the state.

It is only in the dream will a man praise a renowned leadership, democratic and political failures like Yahaya Bello and his cohort. What we have in Kogi state is the absence of democracy ,governance and social justice, but the presence of tyranny, fraud, lies and embezzlement.
Yahaya Bello administration has failed the test of leadership and hence the verdict of Yahaya Bello must go is a constant variable in 2019 election.
