Alhaji Ishaq Asuku Iliyas has called on the people of Adavi to register with the National Identity Card Management Commission (Nimc) because of its enormous benefit.
Speaking with newsmen on Monday, Iliyas the national identity registration is important for planning and development.
Iliyas, a frontline House of Assembly aspirant, pleaded with the commission to increase awareness and make the centers available and accessible to the teeming population.
In the same vein, he also urged Adavians to take advantage of the ongoing voter’s registration exercise.
“Voters registration exercise is a call to duty and this clarion call must be answered by all who have attained the voting age of 18years and above. Your vote is your right,” he said.
He further called on the media, religious organizations, traditional institutions, advocacy groups, women and youth groups to intensify awareness campaign to mobilize participants for the exercise.
He called on all his supporters to also register and vote, saying that is the only way they can translate their support to vote.
