I have never seen or heard of such a charismatic politician being loved and cherished so much by his people like Rt Hon Umar Ahmed Imam.
He is just a phenomenon who put his state and his people first, a man truly loved by the people.
He is the type of representative any constituency should be proud of, and Rt Hon Imam definitely has restore our faith in a sincere politician.
Of a truth, to everything done under the sun, there’s a reward. That was exactly the testimony on the lips of all well-wishers, stakeholders and media practitioner that found the immediate past speaker as worthy of emulation which made them describe him as a perfect gentleman and symbol of humility.
He is a dogged and decent politician, and every youths in the state is very proud of the imediate past Speaker and acknowledged his vibrancy, uprightness and humility, because those rare qualities rank him high above his contemporaries.
I acknowledged the fact that his emergence and resignation as the Kogi state Speaker is God’s reward and a test for his hardwork in enhancing the state’s democracy. He is indeed a rare gift and blessing to the state
Rt Hon Umar Ahmed Imam is a man of few words. But his actions and achievements as the speaker transcend what can be pushed or wished away ignominiously.
Thus Rt Hon Imam was at it again to bridge the gap and call for peace created by the executive and some cabals at the state Chamber. This is another step in the right direction.
The legacy and leadership style of the 6th Assembly under his watch as the imediate past speaker is a clarion call for other Representatives of the people to promote the course of the people and alleviate their plight in other to gain street credibility in the nearest foreseeable future.
Rt Hon Umar Ahmed Imam is a man of peace and that’s why he has pursued peace in tendering his resignation.
Noted for his tenacity and penchant for excellence, Rt Hon Imam has positively affected the socio-economic and political landscape of Kogi State culminating in the success recorded by the 6th legislature of the state Assembly.
His success as a Ph.d holder in view, a public office holder, Parliamentarian and Politician can be traced to the total commitment of his endowment towards serving humanity.
The immediate past Speaker’s dogged commitment to the state rebirth has opened a new vision of hope for a dynamic and vibrant generation of people who are now seriously involved in the state building process.
Rt Hon Ahmed Imam’s quality representation in the state House of assembly is replicated particularly during is reign as the Speaker which he effectively used to expose several frauds and spending-spree by some corrupt heads of state agencies and ministries.
As he tendered his resignation, i pray God to continue to endow him with sound health, divine wisdom,and guidance in the task of making parliamentary democracy more meaningful to the People of Kogi State through qualitative legislation which has no doubt earned him recognition across the globe.
The immediate past speaker is an astute politician, a grassroot developer, a lover of peace and a bridge builder.
I appreciate his peace mission to the state. His efforts shall not go unrewarded.
At the Political front vis-a – vis his current resignation has ended in praise.
How else can one represent his constituents other than putting his people on the spotlight?
I urge Lokojans and kogi state entirely to support Rt Hon Imam’s course of action
Lokoja and kogi at large will be great again with people like the Immediate past speaker Rt Hon. Umar Ahmed Imam and we the youths endowed with common sense are gradually identifying the “Drivers”.
