The Kogi State Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon. Enema Paul has said that the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello is one that is poised at developing Kogi State for all.
He disclosed this while at different locations in Odu, Dekina local government area of Kogi State.
The commissioner who was on an official duty was accompanied by some staff of the ministry of rural development for the commissioning of age long broken down and abandoned water project which has been resuscitated and reticulated.
In his words; “the government of Governor Yahaya Bello is at work for a better Kogi State. As Commissioner, I cannot effect any work without adequate funding and his Excellency is ever ready and committed to releasing funds for projects that will better the life of all Kogites. And the testimony is the reason why we are all here today”
It is worthy of note that the kilometer long multi community water scheme which cut across Odu Aja-Kagwu, Odu Òjènèjo, Odu Òmadènè and Odu Olubòjò, Dekina LGA is the largest rural Water supply project in Kogi State and was constructed by the first executive governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu.
With this feat, the young honorable whose stewardship so far is characterised by admirable vogue and excellence has again heightened his tall standing among committee of commissioners in Kogi State and Nigeria at large. No doubt, water is life and whoever provides it protects life. The “water for all” initiative is indeed a commendable one therefore.
