My attention was called to an intellectually defective write up this afternoon captioned ‘ My Kabba/Bunu people, why the noise? Eni Orisa Gbayeko Ejeunse’. The writer tried effortlessly (without success) to defend his pay master without responding to the many issues raised against him.
Before i react to the gibberish contained in the article, there was an interesting aspect of my initial missive that was expunged shortly before publication for personal reasons but has become expedient to revisit – the literacy (or illiteracy) level of the character that has been imposed on the Kabba/Bunu LG people which has apparently reflected in the write up of his social media advocates..Kabba/Bunu, which harbours a significant percentage of the total population of people from Kogi west senatorial district boasts some of the most educated and brilliant minds in the whole of Kogi state. However, what is most unfortunate is how the fate of a vast population of people from this region is now being left in the hands of a cerebrally retarded individual..
Eni Orisa Gbayeko?? We’ll frustrate him until ‘Eni Olorun Gbayeko’ gets there..I raised a very fundamental issue yesterday that bothered on welfarism and Job creation especially for our youths, what i got in response was a careless effrontery.. I was at the Confluence stadium to observe the kick-off of the YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND JOB CREATION PROGRAM this afternoon, regrettably i was unable to recognize a single familiar face from Kabba. I’ll ask again, who re the 100 beneficiaries using Kabba/Bunu slots??
It’s important to state clearly at this point that my grievance is void of clanish or party coloration but one expressed out of a sincere need to make government and governance at the grassroot responsible to her citizenry.
In contrast to the write up captioned above, kabba/Bunu people are not crying and will never have reasons to cry but yet we’ll not continue to look on while our patrimony is subjected to daylight rape as a result of mediocrity, incompetence and complacency on the side of our administrator..
The governor must know that the ‘new direction’ our people are currently experiencing under Kabba/Bunu LG administration is one that reflects his government in bad light…
