The Speaker, Kogi state house of assembly, Rt Hon. Umar Imam has implored the citizens of Kogi state to exercise patience with the Governor of the state as he is geared towards taking Kogi to the next level.
Rt Hon. Umar says it may appear as if fixing the state was slow and therefore taking much time but certainly the method adopted by the Governor will take the state to the promise land.
The Speaker, in an exclusive chat with Leadership Weekend in Lokoja pointed out that things done in a hurry are always not done well.
He implored all Kogites to remain steadfast in the resolve to make Kogi a home indeed, stressing that the governor should be supported with prayers and a show of absolute confidence in his capacity to take the state to eldorado.
Hon Umar called on the citizens to be mindful of the security of lives and property in the state, noting that it is the first condition for development; stressing further, he said “without peace and security it will be difficult for investors to take interest in our state and if this happens, it will certainly affect development”.
