As part of efforts to reposition the council for effective service delivery to its citizens, the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government, Hon Aliyu Baba Usman has dissolves appointees in the council area.
In a Press Statement signed by the Media Assistant to the Chairman, Yabagi Mohammed, Hon Aliyu said the decision become necessary for his administration to face the quantum of challenges that confront the LGA.
According to the Chairman, appointees beginning from secretary to the council, to all other appointees stand dissolved with immediate effect.
He said new members to the council would be appointed when the new administration fully takes over the Local Government Machinery.
Hon Aliyu, who thanked members of the immediately dissolved executive in the council for their service to his administration while they were in office, assured them of continuous cordial relationship with them.
