Shake-Up in Nigerian Police As Kogi, 20 Other States Get New Commissioners

The acting Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba, has named and deployed new officers to Kogi and 20 other states as Commissioners of Police in the States. 
A statement yesterday by the spokesman of the Police Force, Emmanuel Ojukwu, said the posting followed the approval of the recommendation of the commissioners to the Police Service Commission.
In his words, “the appointment followed the recommendation of the Commissioners to the Police Service Commission and its subsequent approval.”
The new commissioners are:

Paul E. Okafor – CP Kogi State

Usman Yakubu – CP Nasarawa State

Isaac Gabriel Achong – CP Akwa-Ibom State

Hyacinth M. Dagala – CP Benue State

Idris Faruk Umar – CP Jigawa State

Salihu Garba – CP Kwara State

K Shodipo – CP Oyo State

Abubakar Marafa – CP Osun State

Clement O. Adoda – CP Borno State

Usman A. Baba – CP Delta State

Dan Bature – CP Rivers State

Karma Hosea Hassan – CP Anambra State

Titilayo M. Busari- CP Cross -River State

Valestine U. Ntomchukwu – CP Bayelsa State

Frederick T. Lakanu – CP Ekiti State

Ademola Omole – CP Taraba State

Olusola Emmanuel Amore – CP Niger State

Adejoh Gabriel Adaji – CP Adamawa State

Ishaku Barau – CP Kebbi State

Wilson A. Inalegwu – Acting CP, FCT
