Wada Vows to Rid Kogi of Kidnappers

Kogi State Government has restated its commitment to curtail activities of the kidnappers in the state, especially in the Okene axis.

It would be recalled that no fewer than four kidnapping cases were reported at the Okene axis in the last four months.

Recently, sons of Speaker, of Kogi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Momoh Jimoh Lawal, were kidnapped by unknown gunmen. Expressing this commitment, yesterday, was Governor Idris Wada, who berated the increasing rate of kidnapping in the Okene area.

He assured residents of the state that the state government would not fold its hands and watch hoodlums from other states perpetrate evil in the state.

Governor Wada explained that the state government would continue to partner with security agencies in the state to rid the state of menace of kidnapping.
