As the Federal Ministry of Works commences rehabilitation of the Kabba-Ilorin Road, the Federal Government has been commended for the initiative which is expected to boost economic development in the area.
Deputy Chairman House of Representative’s Committee on ICT, Yusuf Tajudeen, eulogized President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, “for matching words with action, keeping to his promise of embarking on the reconstruction of the Kabba-Ilorin Road.”
The Lawmaker who represents Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency stressed that the Kabba-Ilorin Road, when completed, “will boost economic growth, social development and infrastructural transformation of communities in our constituency.”
Representative Yusuf Tajudeen assured that, “this laudable gesture by Federal Government to the beneficiary-states of Kogi and Kwara will be appropriately appreciated through consistent support for every programme and project enunciated by the present administration, at all times.
“One is confident that with the passion of President Jonathan to infrastructural development and the doggedness of the Works Minister, the Kabba-Ilorin Road will be completed as scheduled.”
The Lawmaker while commending Kogi State Government and other Elites of the Confluence State for their collective effort towards the rehabilitation of Kabba-Ilorin Road, admonished residents of communities along the Road to give Federal Government, Federal Ministry of Works and the Contractor necessary support and co-operation to ensure early completion of the Road.
