The Kogi State Deputy Governor, Arc Yomi Awoniyi, has described the death of Dr Abubakar Sola Saraki as a lost to Nigeria as a whole.
Arc Awoniyi, described the death as painful,urged the people of Kwara state to take solace as the late Dr Saraki, lived a life of a worthy leader.
While the Deputy Governor commiserated with the Kwara State Government, the people and the family of the late Dr Sola Saraki, said the news of the death came to him as a shock.
While noting that thanks must be given to God, late Saraki, the Deputy Governor noted made indelible marks in life especially in stabilizing democracy in the second republic and in our current democratic practice in the country,he noted cannot be forgotten.
Awoniyi prayed God to grant the Kwara State Government, the family he left behind as well as his political associates the fortitude to bear the loss.
