Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives Candidate for Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, has issued a condolence message to the Uduaghan family and the people of Delta State following the death of former Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan.
In the statement, Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim described the late former governor as a distinguished leader who served the people with dedication and distinction, noting that Dr. Uduaghan remains a beacon of hope to the younger generation.
He said the late governor’s name is boldly written in the golden book of history, and that his legacy of service to humanity, healthcare delivery, and infrastructural development will continue to inspire generations.
“Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan’s passing is a painful and irreplaceable loss—not only to his immediate family but to the entire Delta State and Nigeria at large. As a former Governor, he distinguished himself through selfless service to the people. His name is boldly written in the golden book of history, and his footprints remain etched in the sands of time across Delta State,” Hon. Abdulkadir stated.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the Uduaghan family, the government and people of Delta State, as well as the deceased’s friends, associates, and political colleagues.
“At this difficult moment, my thoughts and prayers are with his family, the government and people of Delta State, and all those mourning this irreparable loss. I pray that Almighty God grants his family the fortitude to bear this painful departure and grants the departed soul eternal rest,” he added.
