The Chairman of G1 Group and Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Federal Constituency, Prince Gowon Enenche, has fulfilled his pledge to the Catholic Women Organization (CWO), Ankpa Deanery, with the donation of a brand-new Toyota Sienna bus to the organisation.
Enenche formally presented the vehicle during the 2026 Onobule Omemele Award-Giving Ceremony and Fundraising event, held in the presence of the Catholic Bishop of Idah Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Anthony Ademu Adaji, MSP.
The gesture followed a pledge made by Enenche several months ago during the CWO Ankpa Deanery Mother’s Day celebration at St. Charles College, Ankpa, where he committed to providing the organisation with a Sienna bus to facilitate its programmes and activities.

With the presentation of the vehicle, the G1 chairman has translated the earlier pledge into a tangible intervention aimed at strengthening the organisation’s operational capacity.

Speaking during the presentation, Enenche said his decision to support the CWO was informed by the need to back public commitments with concrete action.
“When I made the promise to the Catholic Women Organization, it was not merely a statement made for the occasion. I made that commitment because I understood the importance of mobility to the activities of the organisation, and today, I am grateful to God that we have been able to fulfil it.”
He explained that the vehicle would assist the CWO in carrying out its programmes, meetings, outreach activities and other engagements across the Ankpa Deanery.
“This is not simply about donating a vehicle. It is about supporting an institution that contributes to the welfare of families, women and communities. We want this bus to serve the women and help them advance the work they are already doing.”
Enenche further emphasised the importance of supporting community institutions irrespective of political considerations, noting that faith-based organisations remain significant contributors to social cohesion and community development.
“For me, service is about identifying genuine needs and responding to them. Wherever there is an opportunity to support an institution that is contributing positively to society, we should not hesitate to do so.”
The presentation was witnessed by Catholic faithful, community leaders, members of the CWO and other dignitaries who attended the award-giving and fundraising ceremony.
The donation represents another instance of Enenche linking his commitments to tangible interventions, particularly in support of community-based and faith-driven organisations.
Receiving the vehicle, the CWO Ankpa Deanery expressed appreciation for the gesture, which is expected to enhance the organisation’s mobility and facilitate its activities across the deanery.
Enenche, while reiterating his commitment to community-oriented initiatives, said sustainable development requires practical support for institutions that work directly with the people.
“A promise becomes meaningful when it is followed by action. What matters to me is not merely what we say, but what we are able to do with the opportunities and resources God has entrusted to us.”
