Nigerian travelers connecting to Saudi Arabia are set to benefit from a new direct flight route, as Saudia (Saudi Arabian Airlines) prepares to begin operations between Abuja and Jeddah starting December 2026.
The new route will link Nigeria’s capital directly to Jeddah, offering a more convenient option for pilgrims travelling for Hajj and Umrah, as well as business and leisure travelers, without the need for connecting flights through other hubs.
Al Sudais Travels and Tours Limited, a Nigerian travel agency with operations spanning the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia, says it is preparing to support customers ahead of the route’s launch.

“This is a significant development for pilgrims and travelers connecting Nigeria to Saudi Arabia,” said Yusuf, M.A., General Manager and Secretary of Al Sudais Travels and Tours Limited. “We are positioning our team to ensure our clients can take full advantage of this new direct connection as soon as bookings open.”
The airline is yet to open bookings for the route, with further details expected closer to the launch date.
Al Sudais Travels and Tours offers flight bookings, visa assistance, hotel reservations, and Hajj and Umrah packages, and can be reached on +234 904 582 7433 or via alsudaistravel.ng.
