The most dangerous hour for Christianity is not persecution; it is familiarity without repentance. Churches can overflow, sermons can trend, religious language can flourish, while souls quietly drift toward eternity without knowing Christ personally today.

Jesus did not present the end times as entertainment for curious believers. He presented them as a summons to vigilance, repentance, holiness, and evangelism. The question is therefore brutally simple: are we spiritually ready today?
Paul warned Timothy that perilous times would expose a civilization addicted to self, money, pleasure, pride, and appearance. The warning is uncomfortable because churches can quietly accommodate the culture Scripture commands believers to resist consistently.

The answer is not date setting. Scripture never authorizes Christians to predict Christ’s return. Instead, prophecy demands preparedness. The issue is not knowing the hour; it is living faithfully before that hour arrives for us.
Yet prophecy is not designed to frighten. It points toward Christ. The Gospel announcing judgment announces mercy, because God is not willing that any should perish but that should come to repentance through Christ alone.

That is why evangelism cannot remain a programme buried inside church calendars. It is an assignment. Every believer carries a message for neighbours, families, workplaces, streets, audiences, and generations that may never enter a sanctuary.
Billy Graham understood this urgency. His ministry directed people beyond religious identity toward repentance and faith in Christ. His stated purpose was helping people find a personal relationship with God, through knowing Christ personally.

The tragedy is that many Christians have become excellent at discussing signs while becoming poor at proclaiming the Saviour. We debate prophecy, identify antichrists, analyse headlines, and forget the neighbour whose soul urgently needs Jesus.
The final warning is therefore not merely for unbelievers. It is also for the sleeping church. The Bride must awaken. The watchman must speak. The preacher must preach. The Christian must stop postponing obedience now.

Salvation is not inherited through parents, denomination, title, baptismal records, church attendance, ministerial clothing, or public reputation. Christ demands personal surrender. Eternity will expose every substitute we trusted instead of Him forever and completely personally.
The Church must recover courage to preach sin without hatred, judgment without sensationalism, hell without manipulation, grace without cheapening repentance, and Christ without apology. Evangelism becomes powerless when the Gospel is edited to protect comfort.

Perhaps the most urgent question is not whether the world is ending. It is whether your life is prepared to meet God. The trumpet may sound later, but death can arrive without consulting your calendar.
Therefore, repent while mercy is available. Forgive while reconciliation is possible. Preach while people can hear. Pray while hearts remain responsive. Rescue the perishing while the Church has breath and the Gospel has remaining time.

The end should not produce panic in believers; it should produce purity, urgency, courage, compassion, and holy action. Christ is truly coming, therefore, evangelism is not optional ministry. It is our assignment before eternity.
