The Chairman of Adavi Local Government, Hon. Bashiru Rasheed Okatengwu, led a delegation of the State appointees to present the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Adavi East State Constituency, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo), to the elders and traditional rulers of Uhami clan.
Hon. Bashiru Rasheed Okatengwu applauded the elders, traditional rulers, and the sons and daughters of the Uhami clan, both at home and in the diaspora, for their commendable efforts in protecting the integrity and good image of their ancestors.

He gives thanks to Almighty Allah for being from the Uhami clan, saying that if he were to return in the next generation, he would choose to come from the same clan.
He urged the entire Uhami clan to unite as a single family, fostering solidarity to enhance the clan’s political strength and influence across Ebiraland.


Hon. Bashir Okatengwu, has commended the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his unwavering commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of the residents of the state.
He urged all members of the Uhuami clan to support former Governor Yahaya Bello for the Kogi Central Senate seat, Engr. Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf for the House of Representatives (Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency), the All Progressives Congress (APC) state assembly candidates, and all other party candidates across the country.
On behalf of the Uhami clan, Hon. Okatengwu announced their endorsement of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, adopting his continuity agenda as a community project and pledging a unified block vote for his success come 2027.
The State Project Coordinator for the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Alhaji Kabiru Otaru, stated that the Uhami clan has a very good relationship with other clans, and their members live across almost all the local government areas in Kogi Central.
He expressed optimism that the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Adavi East Constituency, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo), will make the Uhami clan and the entire constituency proud by delivering the dividends of democracy to the residents upon winning at the polls.
Alhaji Kabiru Otaru presented cola nuts and a cash donation to the elders and traditional rulers. They offered prayers for Hon. Muhammed Wazo and the Uhumi clan to maintain their unity and peaceful coexistence.

He also applauded the Chairman of Adavi Local Government Area, Hon. Abdulrasheed Bashiru Okatengwu, for fostering unity among the sons and daughters of the Uhami clan, while affirming that his political mandate is dedicated to the service of the good people of Adavi East Constituency.
