My People First Foundation has announced the successful completion of another fully built bungalow for a widow in Kogi State, less than six weeks after construction began.
The house was built for Mama Mariyamo Audu Azuo, a widow resident in Inatà Community, Obeiba, in the Okehi Local Government Area of the state. The official commissioning and handing-over ceremony has been scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the beneficiary’s residence.
The Foundation described the project as another milestone in its ongoing commitment to improving the lives of widows, vulnerable persons, and less privileged members of society through sustainable humanitarian interventions.
Speaking on the development, the Foundation’s management credited the timely completion of the project to the vision, compassion, and commitment of its Founder, Hajiya Aishat Oyiza Omade, whose dedication to humanitarian causes, it said, continues to inspire similar interventions across Kogi State.
The Foundation also commended its management team, engineers, artisans, and project workers for their diligence in delivering the bungalow within a short timeframe without compromising on quality.
According to the Foundation, the commissioning will be performed by Dr. Sanni Abdullahi Ozomata, a prominent son of Ebira Land, who has agreed to serve as the Special Guest and Commissioner for the occasion.
The Foundation said the project forms part of its broader mission to restore hope, dignity, and improved living conditions for widows and vulnerable families across Kogi State through practical, impact-driven humanitarian initiatives.
Members of the public, community leaders, development partners, and well-wishers have been invited to attend the ceremony and join in celebrating another life transformed through compassion and selfless service.
