The Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Barr. Natasha Hadiza Akpoti-Uduaghan, has facilitated the employment of another constituent, Engr. Lawal Subair Abdulraheem, into an Aviation College, further reinforcing her commitment to expanding employment opportunities and empowering qualified professionals across the district.
The latest intervention adds to a growing list of employment opportunities and empowerment initiatives facilitated by the lawmaker, whose representation has continued to prioritize human capital development, youth empowerment, and improved livelihoods for the people of Kogi Central.
Speaking on the development, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan reaffirmed her belief that leadership is fundamentally about creating opportunities and keeping faith with the people.

“Leadership is not merely about occupying public office; it is about keeping one’s word and creating opportunities that transform lives. I remain committed to ensuring that qualified and deserving constituents are given the platform to contribute meaningfully to our nation’s development. Every fulfilled promise strengthens the bond of trust between the people and those elected to serve them.”
The beneficiary, Engr. Lawal Subair Abdulraheem, described the employment as a life-changing opportunity, recalling that years earlier he had shared with the Senator his frustrations over repeated job rejections despite possessing the required academic and professional qualifications.
In a heartfelt letter of appreciation addressed to the Senator, Abdulraheem commended her integrity and steadfastness in fulfilling a promise she made long before assuming office.
“When I shared my struggles with you, you not only empathized with my experiences but promised that if given the opportunity to serve as Senator representing Kogi Central, you would do everything within your capacity to help me secure meaningful employment. Today, you have remained true to that promise by facilitating my employment and providing additional support to ensure a smooth transition into this new phase of my career.”
He further noted that the Senator’s intervention had restored his confidence in public service and inspired renewed hope for the future.
“Your action has restored my confidence that integrity, compassion, and purposeful leadership still exist in public service. Beyond the employment itself, your faith in me has renewed my hope and strengthened my resolve to serve with excellence, diligence, and integrity. Your example has shown that true leadership is measured not merely by the promises made, but by the commitments faithfully fulfilled.”
The newly employed engineer also expressed appreciation for the Senator’s broader commitment to the welfare of Kogi Central constituents, acknowledging the numerous empowerment and employment opportunities facilitated under her representation.
He concluded by offering prayers for Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, asking Almighty Allah to grant her good health, wisdom, protection, and greater success in her continued service to humanity.
