The Burial Committee for the late Dr. Segun Nezer Keyi has officially released details of the funeral activities for the respected medical practitioner and community figure.
Dr. Segun Keyi, Founder and Chief Medical Director of Lafiak Hospital, Abuja, was widely known for his contributions to healthcare and humanity.
He was also the elder brother of former Chairman of Ogori/Magongo Local Government Council, Dr. Mathew Keyi.

The announcement followed a meeting of the Dangana and Elegbe families of Ogoriland held in Ogori, headquarters of Ogori/Magongo Local Government Area, Kogi State.
Speaking on behalf of the committee, the Chairman, Engr. Dada Omolaiye, and Co-Chairman, Mr. Gani Oloyede, disclosed that the Wake-Keep Service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the late doctor’s First Foundation Residence, Ayeromi Quarters, Ogori.
They added that the Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, by 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Ogori.
According to the committee, interment will follow immediately after the church service at the Community Cemetery, Ogori.
The Burial Committee appreciated the overwhelming support, prayers, and encouragement received from friends, associates, and sympathisers since the passing of the late physician, assuring that additional information concerning the burial activities would be made available in due course.
