As the 2027 election fever gathers momentum, the electorate who are often at the receiving end, are watching meticulously the political gladiators setting the stage for the usual royal rumble, in order to stifle the opposition to gain electoral advantage.
As it stands, it is once again, going to be the case of ‘no retreat, no surrender’ as different political parties are deploying all arsenals in their armoury – strategy, permutations, networking, synergizing, influence, power and financial muscle to outwit each other as the d – day rolls by like a speed of light.
One distinctive name that have continued to reverberate through the length and breath of Kabba-Bunu LGA and beyond is no other personality but, Benjamin Ayodele Olobayo aka BAO of the Action Democratic Congress (ADC).
For the political animated individuals in this clime, BAO doesn’t need any introduction, only confirmation.
He is bestroding the political firmament like a colossus because he carries the insignia of grace, compassion, humility, humaneness, benevolence, rare candour and positive feedback and impact.
Even at a youthful age, he is synonymous to be useful, reliable and compliant.
Over the years, BAO has exemplified with no room left for doubt, that he is humanity first grand ambassador and possesses some inherent traits centered around political culture and courtesies.
Outside politics, BAO has been instrumental for an egalitarian society where systemic failure is never an option.
Kabba-Bunu I State Constituency deserves better, equitable and magnanimous representation.
BAO has been in the forefront of all inclusive, robust and dynamic leadership.
As the countdown to 2027 election comes faster than expected, BAO is an unrepentant apostle of positive change, notably on educational reforms, infrastructure development, promoting transparent and accountable governance, and a safer society.
With these laudable achievements, he has cemented his place as a leading voice for social impact and an advocate of good governance at all levels.
Now, that he has thrown his hat into the ring, aspiring to be member, House of Assembly, there is no iota of doubt that he is going to put his private life experience and monumental intellect to bear as he delve into the murky water of politics.
In the next couple of days, his foundation – BAO is embarking on a massive offset of student fees in secondary schools across Kabba -Bunu LGA.
This rare gesture will greatly reduce the financial burden on parents who experience difficulties in paying school fees each time their wards are resuming.
With these and many more people – centric incentives from BAO, he has come to deliver on promises made if given the chance to steer the mantle of leadership in Kogi State House of Assembly post 2027.
In time past, we have experienced some politicians who speak from both sides of their mouth. But in BAO, we have a humane and God – fearing personality who is determined to change the status quo.
