The Vice Chairman of Ofu Local Council Development Area in Kogi state, Hon Ojali Joy Omaga, is dead.
Hon. Omaga died in the early hours of Saturday.
Her death was confirmed in a condolence statement released by the Executive Chairman of Ofu LGA, Hon Musa Muhammed Lawal.
The statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Adama Abubakar, stated that the entire Ofu Local Government, the critical Stakeholders, and the party faithful will forever miss the Vice Chairman and her contribution towards the development of the LGA.
The Council Chairman prayed that Almighty God to grant her departed soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.
The statement added that the burial arrangements we will be announced to the public as soon as possible by Ofu Local Government Council.
