Hon. Muhammed Yahaya Dongo (Ozi Dongo) has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State as a united political family built on a solid and unshakable foundation, one that remains resilient against opposition forces.
He made this known during a strategic consultative meeting with the APC Chairmen of Okene and Ogori-Magongo Local Government Areas, alongside their respective executive members ahead of his official declaration to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
During the meeting, Hon. Dongo emphasized party unity, loyalty and continuity as key pillars sustaining the party’s dominance in the state.
He further reiterated that there will be no vacancy in Lugard House come 2027, expressing strong confidence in the continued leadership and stability of the APC government in Kogi State
Ozi Dongo affirmed that former governor Yahaya Bello will emerge victorious in the senatorial elections effortlessly, citing his enduring political influence and legacy of transformational leadership.
Declaring his intention to run for position of House of Representative in Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal constituency, Hon. Dongo pledged unwavering commitment to the party structure and internal democratic processes.
He assured the party executives of his readiness to uphold the principles and progressive ideology of the APC, while building on the solid foundation of good governance laid by former Governor Yahaya Bello, which is currently being sustained and consolidated by the present administration.
Ozi Dongo concluded by calling for unity, grassroots mobilization and collective support as he embarks on this journey to represent the good people of Okene/Ogori-Magongo at the National Assembly.
