Whenever the forklore of highly influential and most unassuming Nigerian Philanthropist of all time is presented, one name that is sure going to feature indubitably, on the invaluable curlicue is Engr. (Dr.) Prince Olatunji Olusoji, the crown Prince of Ayere kingdom.
Olusoji belongs to the rarest lineage of discreet privileged Nigerians who have made a massive difference on the lives of hundreds of people.
His level of leadership prowess and compassion is categorised as kindness given in a respectful way to sustain people who are in need before they are impoverished.
On any occasion, the quintessence of charitable causes extends any act of kindness to humanity, it is not in expectation of any payback in any form.
It is from the abundance of the generosity of his heart.
Olusoji is building schools, constructing roads and healthcare centres, empowering women, developing communities, construction of boreholes, and other amenities for the society with absolutely no strings attached. He also provides scholarship up to the university level in different parts of the country for people who he doesn’t expect to say, ‘thank you’.
He is renowned for changing the narratives of market women, traders, artisans or professionals who cross his paths for good. When he promises, he delivers. He is not one to hoodwink those who look up to him.
Olusoji is a national leader without boundary. This enable people from all walks of life, religious faiths and ethnic nationalities is having a fair share of Olusoji’s benevolence.
Over the years, he has earned the peoples trust, faith and deep respect, irrespective of their religion, gender, status, culture, class or ethnic diversity.
Still, Olusoji doesn’t want anybody to acknowledge or celebrate his unrelenting commitment and dedication to helping others to survive.
In his words, ” whatever I do for humanity is a secrecy between God and I,” he has repeatedly reechoed this to his retinue of followers.
Olusoji never one to flaunt his milk of human kindness or oppress the less – privileged, he doesn’t even want his humanitarian works to speak for him.
He is primarily concerned about his seed of goodness he has sown in others to germinate and prosper to the glory of God and for the benefit of that person without any self- glorification associated with him.
To this philanthropic colossus, his divine assignment is accomplished the moment he has planted the seed of giving in any of his beneficiary.
As a tradition, he detests profiting from any accolade therefrom his magnanimity.
He doesn’t orchestrate, spin or launder his charitable deeds. He won’t play to the gallery.
This is perhaps, the biggest lesson he has served other influential individuals a – la- carte.
Blessed indeed, are the cheerful givers. May God continue to bless, guide and prosper Asiwaju Olatunji Olusoji for his pristine and selfless philanthropism.
