A former lawmaker for Okehi/Adavi Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulkareem Salihu has congratulated Muslim ummahs on the successful completion of this year’s Eid el-fitr.
The Former Federal Legislatior cum grassroot politician conveyed his heartfelt felicitation today while urging his constituents to deepen the sacrifice, prayers and lessons learnt during the fasting period.
The message reads in part, “The Holy month of Ramadan gave us another wonderful opportunity to go closer to Almighty Allah in supplications. Through sacrifice, admonitions and other sincere acts of Ibadah, we are purified and set on the path of righteousness for a better society “
While urging his teeming supporters to extend hands of assistance to indigent people in their locality, He called them to shun violence or acrimony as activities leading to 2027 general elections gather momentum.
He consequently admonished the All Progressives Congress (APC) at all levels not to deviate from its avowed tradition of rewarding loyal party members over the years, arguing that such tradition will further extend the reign of the APC beyond 2027 general elections.
