The Coordinator of Ijumu LGA Renewed Hope 2027, Hon. (Dr) Funsho Olumoko, has extended his warmest felicitations to the Muslim Ummah across Nigeria and in the diaspora as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr.

In a goodwill message released to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Olumoko congratulated the faithful for successfully completing what he described as a rigorous yet deeply rewarding spiritual exercise. He noted that Ramadan represents a sacred period of discipline, devotion, and spiritual rejuvenation for Muslims worldwide.

According to him, the values cultivated during the fasting period—patience, self-denial, and heightened piety—must not end with Ramadan but should remain guiding principles in everyday life.

“Eid-el-Fitr is not just a time for celebration, but a moment to reflect on the virtues of empathy and togetherness. I urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to continue to extend a hand of fellowship to the needy and maintain the spirit of oneness that defines our great nation,” Olumoko stated.

The political strategist, philanthropist and humanitarian also used the occasion to call on Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo. He emphasized that ongoing reforms by both leaders are strategically designed to reposition the nation and the state for sustainable economic growth and long-term prosperity.

Olumoko urged citizens to exercise patience, expressing confidence that the government’s policies would soon begin to yield tangible benefits for all.

Highlighting the importance of unity, he called for collective commitment to nation-building, stressing that the responsibility of moving Nigeria forward rests on every citizen.

He also offered special prayers for the men and women of the armed forces, acknowledging their sacrifices in ensuring peace and security across the country, particularly during the festive season.

As Muslims across the nation celebrate, Olumoko prayed that the blessings of Eid-el-Fitr bring peace to every household and stability to the federation. He concluded his message by wishing all Muslims a joyous and peaceful celebration, saying, “Barika da Sallah.”
